Sitting in the sunshine

Hi again!
Well, I am just sitting here in the lovely sunshine, feeling blessed by this beautiful day.  Here in Adelaide, it is the 2nd day of Spring and our forecast is that it will reach 20 degrees, which is great considering we have been having awful dreary rainy days of only 13 degrees a few days ago!
It is as if God has said "Well, you were good to put up with such a long wet dreary Winter, so I will now give you some beautiful days to begin Spring with!!"
Today is also Fathers' Day - and we are having all four of our daughters, and their husbands and children over for a bbq tea.  They are coming about 5pm.  There will be 10 adults, and 6 children (and 1 "on the way") :0)
We are just SO blessed to have this new house that is so big and spacious that we can fit everyone in easily now.
Our old house was so small, we were never able to have everyone over at the one time.  So this is a really special day - my hubbie is really looking forward to seeing all four of his precious girls.  As well as all of the grandchildren.
So I will post some photos in my next post of this lovely day!
I didnt go to church this morning as I am still not feeling 100% well, and I want to be okay for when the family arrive, so I just rested in this comfy chair and had a snooze, with the sun coming through the window - it has been lovely.
I hope that you are having a wonderful day too.. wherever you are.
I am very blessed to still have my own Dad still with me this year too, and we will be seeing him tomorrow.  The doctors told us we would lose him long before now, but he is still with us, although we know he may not have long... he has end stage Renal Failure, and only has 1 kidney, but he has a great attitude, and he has given his heart to the Lord, and we have been blessed to have so much longer with him.  So I am very thankful to still have him this Fathers' Day too.
Bye for now!  God Bless!

Hi there!

Well "Hi there!" to all seeing this blog for the first time, I welcome you!  I have been blogging for a few years now, under a different blog title, but I was a bit unwise about who I let know my blog name.
So.. here I am with a brand new blog - but I will contact all the lovely Followers that I had before to see if they would like to come on over to talk to me, and share on this blog.
It will be basically the same stuff, just a new name really.
I love to chat about what is happening in my life, and love to hear all your comments, and read your blogs too.  So come on, say "Hi" and tell me about yourself.
I love all sorts of crafts, I love hand sewing, and of course as the name suggests, I love quilting too.
I think that perhaps, I am a "Jack of all trades" but a "Master of none" really.. I love learning how to do new things, but have a tendency to leave them before I have totally finished them, and then I jump over to the next thing that takes my interest.  Consequently I do have a HUGE number of UFO's which I would love to start to finish off, before starting something new.  Can anyone help me with the discipline needed to do that??  Maybe you have some good ideas of how to set up a timeline that is task orientated or whatever.  I would love to hear how you tackle the same problem.
Bye for now.. catch you soon!
